Unsuitable lettings

YH works with other organisations such as Cyrenians to provide homes for those who have had problems with alcohol, drugs and /or criminality. Foundation is another organisation whose remit includes "those liable to re-offend". Housing those in need is vital but it should not affect or endanger others. Our block has suffered a series of unsuitable tenancies which have affected quality of life and posed actual risk. Clearly, these clients are not ready for independent living and YH and its partners are making bad decisions.

Is this a fair burden on ordinary tenants? Do you think your block or area has been used to "dump" problem tenants?
